A new TV spot for The Avengers has made its way online. The new trailer is appropriately titled, Head Count with Tom Hiddleston (Loki) and Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark/Iron Man) front and centre. Take a look below:
The Tribeca Film Festival, presented by American Express, announced today that Marvel’s The Avengers, presented by Marvel Studios in association with Paramount Pictures, will close its 11th edition on Saturday, April 28th on closing night.
Directed by Joss Whedon, The Avengers stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Cobie Smulders, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgard and Samuel L. Jackson.
CBS has announced the finale dates for its 2011-2012 season, along with short descriptions of the finale episodes. Viewers can expect a double-dose of some of their favorite shows, including 2 Broke Girls and How I Met Your Mother.
Barney, Ted and the gang will get an extra half-hour to play on the one-hour season finale of How I Met Your Mother, airing May 14th.

Marvel’s The Avengers has released a new Japanese trailer which features some never-before-seen-footage! Marvel has set a date for the world premiere as Wednesday, April 11, at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood. The Avengers will be released in the North American theatres on May 4. In the UK, it hits cinemas on April 26 and will be known by the alternative title of Marvel Avengers Assemble.
