We’ve got some Avengers news today, and I’m elated to tell you that it is not set images or videos. A new piece of promo art has been unveiled for Marvel’s upcoming collection of comics entitled The Road to The Avengers, in which we’ll get in-continuity stories for Iron Man, Captain America, and the agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The promo art isn’t really anything special, but it’s still The Avengers.
Marvel’s The Avengers picks up when an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security. And Nick Fury, director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster.
With director Joss Whedon at it’s helm, and an ensemble cast including Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Clark Gregg, Cobie Smulders, Samuel L. Jackson, with Tom Hiddleston, and Stellan Skarsgard, the film releases worldwide May 4, 2012!
Cobie alongside the cast of the upcoming film, The Avengers attended the D23 Expo last night! Cobie even posed for a photograph with her How I Met Your Mother co-star, Jason Segel. Ready for your first look at what How I Met Your Mother producer Craig Thomas describes as an epic wedding? On September 19, this CBS sitcom returns with The Best Man, an episode based around … someone’s nuptials. Whose, exactly? We’ll find out on that date.
