TV is back, to help you ring in this New Year! Everyone’s favourite show, How I Met Your Mother returns tonight with the all new episode titled, Tailgating. Take a look at the plot synopsis below.
7.13 – Tailgating
After celebrating New Year’s Eve, Marshall visits his father’s graveside to carry on their tradition of tailgating. Meanwhile, Barney and Ted open a bar called “Puzzles,” and Robin is forced to fill in for an inebriated news anchor.
Let’s face it: Not everyone on TV can be Victoria Grayson (Madeline Stowe), whose immaculate gown collection on Revenge makes her look like she’s stepped out of a magical silk sea that changes jewel tones at her every whim and envelops her in liquid wealth for every occasion — “breakfast,” for example. Nope, sometimes people on TV just look like crap. Pop Watch has started a list of 2011′s Worst-Dressed TV Characters.
Unfortunately, our very own Robin Scherbatsky made the list. (Sad Faces everyone).
Robin on How I Met Your Mother
We hate to say it, because Cobie Smulders is so damn cute, but both her hair and wardrobe have been disastrous this season. Meanwhile, pregnant Lily’s style keeps getting cuter.

Question: What can we expect to see in the next HIMYM episodes?
Ausiello: More Kal Penn. “We love working with Kal and I really like his character, Kevin,” EP Carter Bays tells me. “There’s a great episode coming up with him. It’s a fun little adventure with Ted, Barney and Kevin together. It’s fun seeing him in the mix.” Bays also says there’s a decent chance Ashley Williams will reappear. “We never want to let go of Victoria. And I definitely think one visit [this season] is far too few.” Agreed.
TVLine.com has posted a brief synopsis of what we can expect from the gang when When I Met Your Mother returns January 2nd. So far no episode stills featuring Cobie have been released, but there is still time! Take a look below:
Ted and Barney will finally fulfill their dream of opening a bar … Yes, Puzzles — the name of their would-be booze lounge from Season 4 — is a reality! The long-in-the-making hangout has been erected in a surprising location — inside Ted and Robin’s apartment. Cue the crazy shenanigans!
Meanwhile, Marshall has decided to carry on his tradition of tailgating at his dad’d graveside. Sweet or weird?
